This is a newly developed gas flow meter with leading-edge technology, capable of measuring flow rate, temperature, pressure. Equipped with automatic temperature & pressure compensation, it is an ideal instrument for gas metering.
Working Principle:
The flowmeter body resembles a Venturi tube, with a set of helical guide vanes installed at the inlet. These vanes induce intense swirling flow in the incoming fluid. As the fluid enters the diffuser section, the swirling flow interacts with the backflow, causing a secondary rotation and generating a gyroscopic precession effect. The precession frequency is directly proportional to the flow rate and is unaffected by the fluid’s physical properties or density. It is converted to a pulse signal, which, along with temperature and pressure signals, is sent to the microprocessor for processing and displayed on the LCD screen (showing instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, temperature and pressure).
